Thanksgiving: write appreciation without a promotional detour
Let the reason for the message be gratitude.
Choose something truthful to appreciate
Thank clients for their trust, time, or connection with your business. Avoid claiming a shared experience that did not happen. A reusable greeting should be broad enough to remain accurate, but specific enough to sound like it came from a business that values the relationship.
Choose the right observance
Canadian and U.S. Thanksgiving are different occasions with different dates. Review the recipient group and the planned date instead of sending one schedule to every contact by default. Confirm the date for the relevant year before using an annual rule.
Keep the message concise
A fictional example is: ‘This Thanksgiving, I wanted to send a note of appreciation. Thank you for your trust and connection with Willow Studio.’ Pair it with the appropriate autumn card and a clear sign-off. If you also have a sale to announce, consider whether that belongs in a separate communication with the appropriate audience and message type.
