Update moving holiday dates before the next season

A yearly review prevents a fixed-date automation from drifting away from the occasion.

Understand the repeat rule

An annual month-and-day schedule repeats the date you configured. It does not by itself calculate the next occurrence of every religious, lunar, or weekday-based holiday. Treat the next year’s date as information to verify rather than something the template artwork establishes.

Keep a review list

List the holiday automations you intend to use and note which dates need annual confirmation. Review them before the relevant season begins, including occasions that vary by country or community. Do not use last year’s log entry as proof of this year’s correct date.

Check more than the calendar

When you update a date, also read the subject and body for old years, outdated references, or changed business details. Review the audience and Gmail readiness, then preview the saved content if it changed. This small maintenance habit keeps a recurring greeting connected to the real occasion instead of merely repeating a past configuration.
