Keep grooming, sitting, and other service reminders easy to understand.

Clarify the service visit
Use the client’s name and the saved appointment details in a short reminder. If you want to mention a pet’s name, confirm that your actual template and record setup support that information; do not invent a personalization field. Plain, accurate wording is better than an unsupported token.
Provide a practical response path
Tell the client how to report a change and ensure someone monitors the relevant mailbox. A reply does not automatically mean the event has been rescheduled in every system. Update the saved date after agreeing the change through your normal process.
Review repeating arrangements
Regular grooming or sitting schedules can change with travel and holidays. Inspect the calendar and recurrence details before upcoming reminders, and review the log when a message is unexpected. A small, reliable communication routine helps clients prepare for the visit while leaving room for the individual care and instructions that pet services often require.
