How real estate professionals can stay in touch after closing
Build a modest follow-up routine around known dates and useful reasons to reconnect.

Choose relationship moments
A completed transaction can be followed by a thank-you, a later check-in, or a known anniversary. Use dates the client has shared or agreed to, and keep the purpose clear. Avoid implying that a generic scheduled message contains a current valuation or individualized market advice.
Keep the message conversational
A short check-in can ask whether the client has settled in or needs help finding the right local contact. Write only what you can genuinely support. If the client replies with a detailed question, handle it through your usual professional process rather than assuming the automation resolves the conversation.
Review relevance over time
People move, change addresses, and update communication preferences. Maintain the contact record and inspect your audience before a broad holiday greeting. Use the calendar and log to keep track of planned and attempted touchpoints. The goal is a recognizable, considerate presence after the transaction, not a stream of messages that assumes the relationship never changes.
