Use specific dates when a relationship moment does not fit a standard category.

Choose a real reason to reconnect

A project anniversary, service milestone, or agreed check-in can be worth remembering. The date should represent something meaningful to the client, rather than an arbitrary excuse to email. Write down the purpose before creating the event so the future message has context.

Keep the wording reusable but accurate

A custom-date message may need a dedicated template if its meaning differs from a birthday or renewal. Use supported fields and clear text; do not assume LoopLily can infer the occasion from a vague note. Review whether the intended event is one-time or recurring.

Review the event over time

Milestones can become irrelevant when the relationship changes. Inspect them during your regular contact review and adjust the date or workflow as needed. Before sending, verify the audience and preferences. A custom reminder works best when it preserves a useful commitment you already made, such as checking back after a completed project, rather than manufacturing a new obligation for the client.
