Give each week a purpose

Use the first week to prepare contacts and sender details. Use the next to preview and configure one recurring message. Once you understand the first results, add a second use case that needs different information. A birthday greeting and an appointment reminder teach different parts of the system.

Leave time for corrections

Incomplete names, outdated email addresses, and changed dates are normal operational issues. Reserve time to fix them before widening your audience. Keep a short note of what you changed so you can tell whether the next run behaves as expected.

Define progress in practical terms

At the end of the month, ask whether the records are current, the messages sound like your business, and the logs are understandable. Avoid judging success only by the number of emails sent. A quieter system with accurate dates and appropriate recipients is more useful than a large set of overlapping rules you do not yet trust.
