Read the Sending Log without over-interpreting it

Use recorded outcomes to understand an attempt, not to guess a client’s reaction.

Start with the row’s context

Read the date, contact or audience, automation or template, email type, and destination together. These details help distinguish two messages that may have similar subjects. A status makes more sense when you know which rule produced the attempt.

Inspect the result explanation

Look at the recorded result and any available retry information. A sent status is not proof that the recipient read the email or that it reached the primary inbox. Likewise, an absent expected message needs investigation rather than an immediate assumption that the template failed.

Choose the next action carefully

If there is an error, correct its cause before retrying. If a recipient was not eligible, inspect the relevant preferences and data without overriding them merely to obtain a successful send. Keep a note of what you found so later attempts can be compared. The log is most useful when it leads to a specific, evidence-based correction.
